Thickness: 0.18 mm
These padlock shims are precision-formed from thin yet durable spring steel, engineered to exploit small mechanical tolerances in certain padlock designs. Their ultra-thin profile allows them to slip snugly around the shackle (hasp), following its contour to reach the locking mechanism.
To use, simply insert a shim between the shackle and lock body, then twist gently to disengage the latch. On some padlock designs, you may need to insert one at each side of the shackle. This simple but effective tool can open many common padlocks without the original key.
